Who knew that this little fun cartoon could cause such a knee-jerk? I thought cancel culture died when Elon bought Twitter. Nope, some of the cancel culture gnats still hover and their screeching flying monkey snowflakes are ever waiting to swarm. This cartoon was called Elon hate speech and the snowflake queen decided that my horrific use of MA-5 carrying a chimp was somehow me pitting Project Mercury against their ever worshipful Starship... so they pulled the cartoon. They also threatened to ban me from their site because I dared to ask exactly why this was pulled.
The worst part is, they seem to think I care. A: I'm very rarely on their site since they went cancel culture, B: Every time some "Mod" or "Admin" does some of this knee-jerk nonsense, my publisher over at www.aero-news.net tells me I'm earning my pay, because he loves it.
Once in college when a person supposedly "in charge" came after me for my cartoons, and lost... as he was signing the paper of his surrender, he looked at me, sneared and said,
"You have a real problem with authority"
"Not really," I replied, "I was raised to respect real authority- like judges and police officers. I just have a problem with bullshit authority."
You mean like me," he snarled.
"Have a nice day," I replied coolly as I picked up his surrender and left his office.
